The Florida State University Multidisciplinary Evaluation and Consulting Center (MDC) at the College of Social Work, provides a range of services to pre-school and school- aged children including diagnostic evaluations, individual and group therapy, and consultation. In addition, the MDC provides pre-service and in-service training for parents, teachers, other school district personnel, and related providers and professionals. The MDC offers an APA Accredited Psychology Internship as well as other training placements for doctoral and master's level students in Psychology, Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy.
SERVICES
The Multidisciplinary Center provides evaluation, consultation, and behavioral health services for school-aged children who are experiencing academic, medical, and/or behavioral/emotional difficulties.
TRAINING
The MDC offers comprehensive training placements, including an APA Accredited doctoral psychology internship and practicum placements for graduate and undergraduate students in the behavioral health fields.
